Guinness chocolate cupcake, Jameson bittersweet chocolate ganache, Bailey's buttercream.
Yeah, the name has been made "politically correct."



Now I need chocolate.

Slow roasted for almost two hours, they were soft, crispy and gorgeous. To go with them, I had some leeks and mushrooms, braised in the rendered pork fat and a parsnip/potato mash.
Om nom nom.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

* 2/3 cup vegetable shortening
* 2/3 cup butter
* 8 oz sugar
* 8 oz brown sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 egg yolk
* ½ tsp vanilla extract
* 14 oz all purpose flour
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1 tsp salt
* 12 oz chocolate chips
* Optional: Semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Method:

1.   Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and a quick brush of vegetable shortening. Not too much or the cookies will be greasy.
2.   Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
3.   In a mixing bowl with the paddle attachment, mix the vegetable shortening and butter. Add the sugar and brown sugar.
4.   Add the yolks and the eggs on low speed. Then slowly add the flour and vanilla.
5.   Add the chocolate chips and a good handful of chopped chocolate.
6.   Use a small ice cream scoop to portion out the cookies. Chill 15 minutes.
7.   Bake at 350 for 13 minutes.

Hoping this won't get me in trouble, but I was hoping for some recs.

I only just found this pairing, but so far, most of what I've seen is fics that start out with Faith and Dean already in an established relationship.

Now since I find it so hard to believe that Dean would actually be in a relationship (and I don't just mean a het one), I would love to read some fics where Dean and Faith meet and start dating, up to the point that it's actually believable for him to stay with one person and not sleep around. In other words, first time fics that are more than just pwp's.

So does anyone have any recs for those kind of Faith/Dean fics?

Angels on Bare Skin cleanser - I love this, but I hadn't got it for a while.
a new Sugar Scrub - the previous ones I'd got had been kept too close to Sugar Babe and absorbed the scent, but this one smells gorgeous :)
Heavenly Bodies - smells so much like Sonic Death Monkey! Orange, vanilla, chocolate; no coffee or lime, though.
Catastrophe Cosmetic - interested in trying this out, since Brazened Honey was ouch-y and Cupcake *made* me break out after a while.

And a sample of I Love Juicy, which smells pretty good.

Also, does anyone remember a perfume called 'Go Green'? I loved it, but they discontinued it, I think. I'd buy it, even if it was Retro :)
